Actress and former model Diane Kruger has spoken of her realisation about exactly what foundation can do for your make-up. The star of Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds told Stylist Magazine that she does believe beauty can come both from the outside, ie healthy hair, perfect face and body, but also that some people possess beauty that radiates from within.

Although the latter must surely apply to the beautiful actress, she did go on to say that her flawless looks on the red carpet are down to foundation, and it is the base of creating any good look.

“If you even out your skintone – foundation not too thick, just enough coverage – then you can do anything with the rest of your make-up,” she told the magazine.

She went on to admit that she does buy her own concealer but never manages to get the tone right, normally picking a shade too light which is just “ugly”, but refuses to have all her make-up essentials picked by a stylist. (Source)
